Welcome to a new school year! I am so excited to have your child in my classroom. This year we have many exciting and challenging learning experiences in store. I believe that in a classroom there is room for every student to learn no matter what level he or she is at when I first meet them. I welcome students from all backgrounds and am excited to teach them what I know and learn things from them I may not have known. Learning is a two way street where communication is key. It is also important for me to communicate as much as I can with you! It is my goal this year to have each of my students parents participate in their learning as much as they can. This means I will be signing parents up to be class helpers when possible, asking parents to discuss homework with your children when extra help is needed and asking for help when special events are held. Since I am asking you to be available to me I will be available to you over e-mail at cisawoot@hotmail.com, and over the phone at 360-961-1016 between 3 and 4, Monday thru Friday. You can also schedule a time to meet with me by appointment. I hope this website will be another tool for us to communicate. Please take a moment to look over it, it is designed to be a tool to keep you informed at your child as organized as possible. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
